mouse corruption after guest "screen power off"

After waking up from a "screen power off" event, the mouse cursor position is completely off (still reacts, but useless)
workaround fix: "switch user", log-in again, mouse functionality restored
workaround prevention: edit power plan in guest to prevent "screen power off"
This might depend on the screen size, i.e., I have only observed the issue for large screens (I use screens > 1600x1200)
Best regards,
David
