I am currently testing out Fedora 19 KDE version and when I try to mount a shared folder with my main Windows 7 os, it gives me an error message saying the shared folder is broken. I have Fedora 19 Gnome version as well and it mounts just fine. I tried creating a new shared folder but no luck. Any Ideas?? Thanks.

Post the guests log file (as an attachment)
See Online Users Manual for the location of the file.

Also the result of the following in the guests terminal

Code: Select all

uname -a

Here is uname -a: Linux localhost.localdomain 3.11.1-200.fc19.x86_64 #1 SMP Sat Sep 14 15:04:51 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Attatched is the log file and I figured out that after doing these updates (also attached) is when the shared folder broke. Thanks.

Known issue with the 3.11 kernel and fixed in SVN and version 4.3.0-B3. Fix came after the 4.2.18 release so you would need the beta or wait for 4.2.20 or take your chance with the beta
