Virtualbox sending the wrong representation of backspace

Post by jio »

Hello,

I've noticed that virtualbox sends backspaces as deletes (0x7f) rather than ^H (0x08). I'd like to change this so I can do work in my Ubuntu developing VM.

How can I change this?

Just in case you're using a Mac... surely you're aware that Macs have a delete key where PCs have a backspace key? It is a different key, not just a different label on it.
