Hello
I upgraded VirtualBox to the latest release 4.2.18. I still have Guest Additions 4.2.16 installed, so I upgraded to 4.2.18. I started VirtualBox and it tells me that I still run old Guest Additions. So I entered the Menu Devices and hit Install Guest Additions. But nothing happens.
Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
Erwin

Re: Upgrade Guest Additions
Probably your guest has autorun disabled. All the "Install Guest Additions" menu option does is mount a CD. If autorun is enabled that the installer will start. Otherwise you should then browse to the CD and run the installer manually. The correct installer package would depend on which guest OS is involved, which you neglected to mention.
