stopping the machine suddenly

I had to stop my XP machine but when I tried to reopen it I found the .vbox file. My host is windows 7 and my geust is XP .
Run time error WindowsXP.vbox not foundfor reading :

Runtime error opening 'C:\Users\Ehab\VirtualBox VMs\WindowsXP\WindowsXP.vbox' for reading: -102 (File not found.).
D:\tinderbox\win-4.2\src\VBox\Main\src-server\MachineImpl.cpp[725] (long __cdecl Machine::registeredInit(void)).
Result Code:
E_FAIL (0x80004005)

Is the another *.vbox-temp or *.vbox-prev?
If so rename it to *.vbox

I have renamed the recent file and went well . Thanks
