Installer encountered an error

Hi!

I've used VBox quite some time and had a version from maybe a few months ago.
Recently I tried compiling octave, but failed and installed and messed arround with my Dev-Tools and compilers.

When I started VBox and opened a vdi, it told me, that some "virtualbox kernel" couldn't be found or something. So i uninstalled VBox and Xcode (just to be sure) and reinstalled both. But with VBox it says at the package stage: "Installation failed, contact.."

I don't know what could be the reason for that, and I didn't find anything useful on finding the log file either.

I use OSX 10.7.5 and the newest XCode (if of use).

Any hint/advice/help is much appreciated!

I found a log of the, by then working, vbox in /User/username/Library/vb:

Looks like the last session, where I tried starting all my boxes, but none worked.

I tried manually deleting all files related to vbox, but without success.
I desperately searching for a log file for the installation to find out WHAT actually goes wrong.

+ I manually removed everything "vbox" I found in my users lib and /lib ...
Aswell as that, I ran the uninstaller 100 times -> then decided to manually delete all files like said here:

That didn't change anythign either.

On the terminal I don't get any response - do I have to enable logging on installation or something?
I really want this thing to get going again.. No one finding any helpful comment?

The same words with an installation try from terminal:
