Can't download the windows version - only 21,6 MB are downloaded, it should be ca 75 MB - All checksums produce errors when checked, all downloads (Extension pack etc.).
Edit:  Tried again and no issues with checksums (Windows executable fails). Yet I still can't download the windows installer. I only receive a file which is 21.5 MB in size. When you go to the download directory the executable is listed there to be 95M. I downloaded the file using two different browsers and same result.

Must be some mirror problem. Right now I removed the Windows binary from the server and uploaded it again. I assume it will take some time to synchronize the mirrors.

VMM: properly handle NMIs on Linux hosts with X2APIC enabled

I'm getting X2APIC kernel log entries on VM start and very poor performance in Windows 7 64bit guests that manifests a lot like the old I/O APIC problem. I will downgrade and see if I can isolate this to 4.2.18. My other host is still running 4.2.16 and runs the same VM fine, but it is a different OS so I will see if I can narrow this down.

EricF: These log entries are there by accident but they shouldn't cause any harm. With 4.2.18, support for host X2APIC mode was added. Without this change your host may crash when executing 64-bit on 32-bit hosts or when executing guests without VT-x/AMD-V.

Thanks Frank.

It looks like my issue is host rather than version specific. 4.2.16 showed the same behaviour as 4.2.18 in terms of performance under Ubuntu, while the same VM worked fine on a Windows 7 host (under different hardware).

The download (of both the main windows installer and the extpack) worked fine for me just a moment ago.

I wonder how many "me too" posts we're going to get before folks realize that it's just a waste of electrons...

Is there any ETA when this will be fixed? If it were an CDN issue I think this should be resolved after 24 hours - but still no luck...
