Ubuntu 12.04.3 i386 desktop failed to install on VBox 4.2.16

I am getting this error when I try to install Ubuntu desktop virtual machine:
Failed to open the CD/DVD image C:\Users\SQLAdministrator\Downloads\ubuntu-12.04.3-desktop-i386.iso.
Could not get the storage format of the medium 'C:\Users\SQLAdministrator\Downloads\ubuntu-12.04.3-desktop-i386.iso' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).
