Win 7 guest on mac OSX host CPU utilization issue.

Post by chaitanya »

I've installed win 7 as guest OS on my mac OSX Snow Leopard. I've i7 processor, 8GB RAM, nvidia geforce GT 640 GPU. But, my win7 is not utilizing my CPU and other hardware well. I'm not doing anything on my mac while running win7. I've tried many settings in settings button of virtual box. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

I'm not sure what to make of "not utilizing my CPU and other hardware well". You're going to have to be more specific for us to assist you with what might be the problem.

when i try to work in my guest OS(win 7) it performs very poor, even if i try to install vlc media player it takes around 15 mins for that and when i check the task manager's performance tab at same time for CPU usage it shows is 0-2%.
