DHCP on Host Chnaged

Hey everyone.

I work in an environment with about 100 windows machines. the issue shows up on XP and Windows 7.

The issue is this. After installing Virtualbox on some machines this week the host OS is taking an IP from DHCP server 192.168.56.100. This is not our dhcp server and stops the host from accessing the network. We had about 5 VM's on the network the week before the issue and started to roll out some more this week. The strangest thing is machines with out Virtualbox even installed are seeing this DHCP server and taking a x.x.56.x IP.

We set the VM to Bridged adapter mode using the PCnet Fast III adapter.

These kinds of problems that are reproducible should be reported to bugtracker. If you have not signed on to Bugtracker before you will need to select a new Nickname to be able to report issues.
It would also help if you can post the ticket number here so other can see the progress, add information, or see the final results.

In the interim if you are not using the host-only portion of VirtualBox, you can work around this by disabling the VBox DHCP server.

Preference -> network or use VBoxManage on CLI
