Tutorials on gNewSense Guest OS

Post by dumbbeatnix »

Hello, just thought I'd put a couple of easy-to-look-at and understand tutorials on how to get gNewSense up and running. They have been done using OneNote and are on a cloud called SkyDrive. When you load them up they'll fade for a bit and then come up strong on your screen.

I hope you have fun with the tutorials and basically enjoy the FSF society. It is a shame that more people don't use the software because of the lack of games or ability to play them, there are a lot of applications that are great and the best part is they are free.

Anyway here are the tutorials.

1. Setting up gNewSense.
2. Shared Folders.

You can even download the files if they are not showing right on your computer.

The ideal for these forums is to post tutorials etc directly, not merely host links to someone else's content - links that could be broken by the time a reader comes along who would find them useful.

They are my own files, I will upload them to this forum. At the moment the forum doesn't allow .mhtml files or .pdf files to be uploaded, I will get every One Note page and put them all into a word file and then hopefully find a happy medium for this forum.

This will take time, I will probably get it done some time today (Australian time) or tomorrow.

Don't worry though I am not in the habit of taking down links that are my own.

Thank You for your posting, just at the moment it isn't easy to get around a forum that has restrictions on file types.

I have contacted an administrator and am waiting for a reply. Wish me luck :)
