Bridged Network Vbox on HostWin7 and UbuntuGuest NOT WORKING
Posted: 26. Aug 2013, 04:10
I Installed the latest version of Vbox 4.2.16 and did full install with networking drivers that it comes with. my host OS is windows 7 guest OS is ubuntu.
it works with NAT , but i need a static ip that i can ping from host OS, so i am trying to do bridged but it keeps giving me error below
it used to work with previous version of Vbox that i had not that i upgraded it stopped working. i tired to uninstall this latest version and go back to old it did not help.
i have tried to uninstall and reinstall many times and did lot of steps in other blogs and forum nothing seem to help. I am using wireless network card for bridge. i also tried with LAN card same result.
Any help?
