Hello, this is my first post. I have a windows 7 computer on which I have installed Oracle VirtualBox. I have done this using local administrator account. There's a prebuilt Linux VM which I have imported in my VirtualBox. The windows 7 computer is joined to the domain. I want to configure VirtualBox so that the imported VM is available to all users who are going to log on to the computer. So when a user logs on, they open VirtualBox & see imported VM by default. Is it possible? I also want to disable VirtualBox updates but I cant seem to find the registry key for it. Please can someone help?

Thanks for your reply. I didn't find anything related to Windows. My situation is slightly different & I am new to Virtual Box. VirtualBox is installed on a Windows 7 computer which is going to be added to the domain. I already have a prebuilt L:inux VM which has been imported under Administrator account. When this computer (WIndows 7) joins the domain, I want all domain users to have access to that prebuilt Linux VM. I am bit confused over VirtualBox command line options. Where do I run them from?

VirtualBox command line commands to do what? The basic problem with trying to allow different users to access the same vm is permissions. The files for the vm are owned by one user (currently the local administrator). You can change that to some domain user, but they are still owned by that one user. How are you planning to give all of your users permission to access that particular user's files? How are you going to prevent a user who has permission from changing or even deleting these files or adding or deleting files stored on the vm itself?
