USB Seems to cause Win7 VM Stop abruptly

Post by giribt »

I am running base Win 7. I use Win 7 VM for connecting to my client. I have Plantronics USB device that is used microsoft lync in my VM. I managed to enable the device in VM using HOST -> Device -> USB -> Plantronics. First time it works. After a while of audio and video, the virtual box abruptly stops with the message similar to "virtual box stopped. cancel?" Initial windows for virtual box shows aborted. Is there a way to find what is wrong and how to resolve this.

Thanks and Regards,

Try creating a USB filter for the device (see user manual), and plug the USB device in after the guest VM has finished booting.
