Hi,

i have a debian vm for testing purpose on my virtual box. Now i like to deploy this system on a computer (NOT AS A VM!) Therefore i like to "copy" all the files of the vm to a harddisk card so i can install the disk into the computer and boot from and dont need to reinstall the system. But i dont have any idea howto do so?

All settings and needed drivers are installed on the VM. There is no need to change the installation.

Maybe somebody can help me.

Better make a clean install on the real hardware.

If you dont want it, you can try to backup and recover the guest.

Backup: Boot the guest with GParted CD, start Clonezilla, connect a USB disk to the guest, backup the guest.

Then on real hardware: Boot with GParted, start Clonezilla, recover the image.

Possible problem: Linux work with UUID in /etc/ftsab. Better before change this to real devices like /dev/sda1 etc.
