Hello,

I have a Inspiron 15R N5110 Laptop running Windows 7 64 bit

I was trying to install Ubuntu 12.04, everything was going fine until the end of the installation,
i got a message that the installer crashed, so i stopped the machine,

since then i noticed that my headphones do not work, the laptop speakers are ok

i checked the headphones work fine with an ipod

i have re-installed the audio driver several times with no success

help is wanted

edit: booted ubuntu from usb drive, the headphones work, rebooted to windows 7 headphones are still working
