Downloading Windows 7 Ultimate

Hi, I just finished downloading Windows 7 Ultimate and I tried to run it in VB and it gave me this error.

"FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted."

Help!?

When I tried loading Windows 7, as a Virtualbox guest, from an ISO created of the DVD, I got the same error.
I had to install it from the DVD with the optical drive selected (Host Drive <drive_brand> a (sr0) - the default) on the Select Installation Media page of the First Run Wizard.
It loaded right up then.

This usually means that the ISO is not a true copy of the DVD, but without more detail I don't think anyone will be able to say. How did you image the disc?

I tried K3b and Brasero to create the ISO, just as I used K3b to create four ISOs of other OSs which are loaded in Virtualbox, and they all worked.
I've got eight OSs loaded in Virtualbox, and two in VMware.

When using K3b, I:
1. Insert the installation DVD.
2. Click New Data Project.
3. Click the installation DVD item in the upper-left window to ensure it is selected.
4. Drag the DVD files from the upper window to the data project window.
5. Click Burn.
6. Select the check box for Only create image.
7. Take note of where the image is being saved.
8. Click Start.
So it's got me stumped why the Windows 7 ISO won't work.
Did I leave out a check box or a step this time?

To use K3b to create an ISO image of an existing DVD

1) start K3b
2) from the K3b menu select Tools, Copy Medium
3) ensure the "Only Create Image" box is checked on the Options tab
4) enter a destination directory on the Image tab
5) insert the original DVD in the DVD drive
6) click the "Start" button.

This creates a bootable ISO image from the original DVD - assuming
the original DVD was itself bootable.

Simply copying the files from the original to an image as specified elsewhere
in this thread will NOT create a bootable ISO image.

I'm sorry for my misleading post.
I tried your method and it worked. Obviously, I must have used Roxio to create my other ISOs. I'm more familiar with it.
When using so many different brands of software and OSs, I get them mixed up sometimes.
