Hello all,
Trying to do something a little differently. I have two guest machines running on my Windows host. One is Ubuntu, the other Windows 7.
If I configure & launch them in Host-Only mode they get assigned ip address of 192.168.56.101 and 102 (or something similar) and I can reach one from the other no problem. Similarly, if I configure/launch them in Bridged mode, they can both see each other and reach the internet via my host.
So here's what I'm trying to do: I want to set up the Ubuntu guest as Bridged (so I can access the web) but the Windows 7 as Host-Only (so it's blocked from the web) but I'd still like to be able to ping/connect to the Windows 7 VM from the Ubuntu VM.
Ubuntu VM (Bridged) - 192.168.1.3 <--> Windows VM (Host-Only) - 192.168.56.101
Any ideas?

Re: Bridged Guest to Host-Only Guest
Found an answer here:

Virtualbox provides a way to add multiple adapters. So on the settings tab for my Ubuntu VM, I went to the Network settings and the Adapter 2 settings and for this particular adapter, chose Host-Only. It's stupidly easy.
So Adapter 1 is configured for Bridged and Adapter 2 is configured for Host-Only. Launched my Windows 7 VM (Host-Only). Launched the Ubuntu VM (Bridged + Host-only), entered ifconfig in a terminal and viola! I eth2 is setup and ready to go on the 192.168.56.0 subnet.
