Hello -
I recently aquired one of these:
http://nuand.com/
and followed these instructions:
http://forums.nuand.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2804
on my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS running Virtual box v4.2.12 r84980.
I was able to succsessfully follow and install all the required dependencies from the Nuand Forums page.
When the time came to actually plug in the BladeRF into USB and detect if it shows up in /dev I was not able to see it.
How do I get Virtual Box to get the BladeRF to show up in the devices list?
The host is Windows XP and as soon as I plug in the BladeRF Windows pops up with a messsage saying it found knew hardware and wants to install the driver for it. This proves there is nothing wrong with the USB port itself.
I would appreciate all / any advise from the community.

Re: BladeRF USB 3.0 not recognized on Ubuntu guest
USB 3.0 ports are not supported in VirtualBox.
As for USB 3.0 devices, they may be supported if you plug them into a USB 2.0 port. All standard USB solutions then apply (Google "usb site:forums.virtualbox.org" as internal search does not index three letter words).
