glxinfo gives segmentation fault (Win7 Host - CentOS guest)

I have version 4.2.16.r86992 of VirtualBox.

I created a new VM that is using CentOS linux dist. I installed the guest additions and it said everything was ok. I enabled 3D acceleration and allocated memory for the video card. I was now able to resize the screen properly and it was able to detect my resolution. That was nice.

However, when I tried to check info on my graphics card by running e.g. glxinfo I just get a segmentation fault.

Is this a known issue?
