Hello
Which allocation unit size should I choose when formatting NTFS partition on Windows 7 host dedicated to store Virtualbox x86 Linux LAMP guests machines (VDI, Ext4)? There will be a lot of small files stored which belong to various CMS systems.
By default NTFS will format to allocation unit size = 4096 bytes
I was reading HOW TO (viewtopic.php?p=29273#p29273) but I'm still not sure so please share with me some simple answer.

Stick to 4K. It is usually a bad idea to override defaults if you are not an expert.
