Hi,
VirtualBox does not save Linux Fedora state after restarting. The OS is in a ISO file.
I install Fedora in the hard drive but when i restart the OS as its asked it goes back to the beginning?
I know this is something trivial but i can't think why its not memorizing it? I've installed Linux ubuntu before on vmware fusion and it worked.
Please share your thoughts.
cheers,
anonymous

Just as on metal once you have installed the OS you must remove the install media from the CD/DVD or it starts the install process again.

perryg , you have saved me from frustration. This teaches me once again to go back to the very basic of things and think!
Funny how i never thought of an iso as a real cd/dvd which in fact it is but virtual
glad we have the forum!
