Upgraded my Virtual Box to 4.2.16 from 4.2.10 on Windows 7 Enterprise but cannot install the extension pack. I get the message that I must have administrator privileges. This is an AD controlled laptop in a large DoD company so that is not about to happen. How do I accomplish this since it can no longer be mounted as an ISO like earlier packs?
I have looked and can't find a question that fits my situation.

The extension pack (needed for USB 2.0 support etc.) was never mountable as an ISO because it has to be installed into VBox on the host.
The guest additions which are installed inside a guest are provided as an ISO file.
