The guest is trying to switch to the PAE mode which is currently disabled by default in VirtualBox. PAE support can be enabled using the VM settings (General/Advanced).

That was my error, not sure where PAE mode is on the vm too. Any help in what direction I need to be going, I'd really love to play around with #!.

Just found PAE in system/processor, let's see if this does anything.
