Greetings! I'm having a difficult time creating a shortcut (located on my HOST's desktop) linking into an application (located on the VIRTUAL machine).
Information: Host - Windows 8 Pro / Virtual: Windows XP
After reading the documentation (virtualbox. org/manual/ch08.html#vboxmanage-guestcontrol) this is what I have come up with... but still no luck
VBoxManage startvm "Windows XP"
VBoxManage --nologo guestcontrol "Windows XP" execute --image "C:\Windows\programfiles\fin.exe" --username Administrator --password testtest
Please advise on how I can launch "fin.exe" directly from the Windows 8 environment using a shortcut and Virtualbox's seamless mode.
