I have scanned the forum for an answer to a problem that I would think is very common, but could not find one.
I am using VirtualBox 4.2.12 on a Windows 7 platform.
The guest is using Oracle Linux.
I have WebLogic running on the guest.
I am trying to connect to the WebLogic server from the host but it says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
I have my network set up as "Host Only Adapter".
I am not sure what I should check.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cannot connect to WebLogic on Linux Guest
Re: Cannot connect to WebLogic on Linux Guest
FYI
I have tried Host Only and Bridged. No Lock.
I am able to ping the guest from the host and the host from the guest.

Re: Cannot connect to WebLogic on Linux Guest
Then it must be a configuration issue in weblogic or the guest.
The host firewall might be stopping it but other than that since you can actually ping the guest from the host VBox is doing its thing.
