Not able to install VB 4.2.12 and up

Hi!
I am a little bit frustrated; I own a MacPro running OSX 10.8.4.

VB 4.2.10 is running in a perfect manner.

Since version 4.2.12 I am trying to update 4.2.10, without any success! At the end of the installation process I am getting the error message that there is an installation error and I should ask the producer of the software; the reinstallation of 4.2.10 is working correctly.

Any suggestions?

...No, there is no real error message, see attachment, it says: "There is an error; please try again."
