hi
i created a vm in vbox . i set the file format to vhd and installed kali linux in it ..
i am runnig windows 7 ultimate .. can i boot this vhd from real machine as well ?
my system is dell optiplex 755. using c2d e6550 and 8gb ram .

I doubt it. The "hardware" of the vm is completely different from the physical hardware of the host. If it did boot you would have to reload a lot of drivers.
