Hi,
I just installed the software on windows 8 to run ubuntu, and now I get random(?) crashes with error message "critical error has occurred...etc" (pic and log-file of last crash attached). The crash occured while doing a "partial upgrade" inside Ubuntu.
All I've done is to:
1. setup VB and ubuntu
2. ran these commands: sudo apt-get upgrade, sudo apt-get update
3. used the update manager within ubuntu
I am very thankful for help on this issue.

Re: Critical error crash in windows 8
Maybe try allocating less memory to your VM, no need for 4 GB... You'll only starve your host, which will result in random errors & crashs like these.00:00:00.878818 Host RAM: 6023MB total, 4484MB available
00:00:00.968044 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000100000000 (4 294 967 296, 4 GB)
