Should I be worried about this? [Ubuntu 13.04]

I just started using VirtualBox and I am currently using Ubuntu 13.04 on it, but when I but it up I get this "error"

The error only flashes for a second or two and then Ubuntu starts up perfectly fine. I just want to know if it's anything bad or if it's harmless.

and if it's and issue please let me know how to fix this.

Since I can't post images yet I'll just write down the error code.

Code: Select all

[ 8.49119] piix4_smbus 0000:00:07.0: SMBus base address uninitialized - upgr
ade BIOS or use force_addr=0xaddr
[ 8.817559] microcode: CPU0: update failed for patch_level=0x06000629
[ 8.817766] microcode: CPU1: update failed for patch_level=0x06000629

piix4_smbus is normal, but I have no idea about the microcode.

I assume the microcode messages mean that this VM is expecting a different CPU. It doesn't mean anything important (if it succeeded on the wrong processor now that would be important!). Was this VM downloaded as an appliance or moved from a different host? I wouldn't expect to see that message if the guest OS was installed on this CPU.

Actually, there was nothing preventing you from posting an image - as an attachment. As a new arrival the only thing you can't do is post offsite URLs.
