Restore from Snapshot

long story short, I accidentally deleted my original VM files that were cloned. Luckily I have a fairly large snapshot, and would like to know if I can salvage that and restore anything from that snapshot.

I'm afraid not. Snapshot files are differential images and hence are useless as backups without the base image they are differenced from. You need the complete snapshot chain to make one working image.
