In this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56109 the OP says his laptop auto-save-states the running guests when the host OS shuts down. Some mention was made of this possibly being a new feature but I can't find any mention of it in the 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 changelogs.
Does anyone know where I could read on this new feature, if it really exists?
"Automatic Save State" - New 'Feature'? (apparently not)

Re: "Automatic Save State" - does this 'New Feature' exist?
Is the lack of a response a pretty broad hint that this "feature" does not exist?

The reference to the feature (in the linked thread) was speculatory. If you want to confirm that such a feature exists then the options are to wait until a devteam member comments, or check the source code. I could do the latter, except I'm not the one who's interested in the answer!

"Speculatory" confirms my thoughts & search then. (Was hoping you'd weigh in, mpack, thanks!)
