Networking help

Post by stuartbloom »

Firstly, apologies if this has been asked before, but I cannot find the answer to my problem anywhere...

I have a Windows Host (Vista Home) that I want to have a static ip address (192.168.2.10). I want a windows guest (any version) also with a static ip address (192.168.2.50).

What ever I do I cannot get this to work, plus, I would like to be able to access both host and guest from any other machine on the network.

I have v4.2.12 r84980 installed..

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Use bridged mode in the network settings of the guest.
