Runtime Error - guest is inaccessable

My screen froze so I had to reboot. When it came back up I tried to restart the guest but I got this error message:
Runtime error opening 'C:\Users\JohnD\VirtualBox VMs\Ubuntu12-04\Ubuntu12-04.vbox' for reading: -102 (File not found.).
D:\tinderbox\win-4.2\src\VBox\Main\src-server\MachineImpl.cpp[725] (long __cdecl Machine::registeredInit(void)).
Result Code:
E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component:
Machine
Interface:
IMachine {22781af3-1c96-4126-9edf-67a020e0e858}
Background:
My Host is Windos7 and my guest OS is Ubuntu 12.04
I upgraded to 4.2.14 a couple of days ago and I was getting some message about Virtual Additions. I think VA of the previous version was still being used (I need to unmount)
But the guest was working fine. I had already restarted the guest a few times.
Also:
1) About a week ago I upgraded LibreOffice and choose the option to load at startup. I guess that keeps some code in memory. Not sure if this would have any effect on Vbox.
2) I was signing a pdf when the Windows7 screen froze. I've never done that before (new version of pdf?) and my screen has never frozen before.
3) My Ubuntu Guest was running when I rebooted so it was forced to quit.
