Network not working anymore after ugrading to 4.2.14

Hi!

I'm using windows 7 and installed ubuntu mini 12.10. it is configured with two network adapters, NAT and Host-only adapter (VirtualBox Host-only Ethernet Adapter).
In VirtualBox preferences > network I've edited VirtualBox Host-only Ethernet Adapter and set an IP like 192.168.56.101 which should let me access the Apache web server installed on Ubuntu from Windows, but it appears it doesn't work anymore. Now this IP points to my localhost (the one from windows )

What has changed in this update that could affect my network settings?
I'd really like to avoid reconfiguring the network. It took my 2 days to make it work like this when I first installed Ubuntu

found the prob. that IP needed to be set at 192.168.56.1 (then apache server becomes accessible from 192.168.56.101).
But still, the upgrade chaged the IP, and I think that's not good
