I've had VirtualBox for a while now, but I don't know how to get rid of the scrollbars that appear on the hosts windows. Its size is wrong, and I cannot get any new sizes to stick. I want it to be 1024x768, just like the beginning.
I don't remember exactly how this occurred, maybe a crash? I tried closing it, terminating the process, normal re-installs, CCleaner, but nothing worked. I'd prefer not pressing Host+A all the time. I don't have a disk image before this issue, and I don't want to try cleaning every trace of Virtualbox after uninstall w/o proper instructions.
Thank you for your time.

Virtualbox Guests open in wrong windows size
Windows 10 is the actual host, not 8 (no option).

Perhaps this answer will help: it's from yesterday in this very same forum.

Re: Virtualbox Guests open in wrong windows size
No, I don't even bother with Adjust Window Size. All of the Guest OS resolutions are kept at 1024x768, except in Fullscreen and Seamless Mode. The only problem is VirtualBox's window size, it's always a pixel or two short vertically and horizontally whenever I restore the saved state. Doesn't matter if I create a new virtual machine. Cold boots still work fine, only because the window resizes in the startup process.
Windows 10 is the actual host, not 8 (no option).
