I installed SolydX (based on LMDE) as a guest. It comes with Samba enabled. This makes the guest show up in the Shared section in the Mac's finder sidebar which is how it should be. The issue is, once the guest is shutdown the guest still shows up in the sidebar. I don't know if this is a guest problem or a VirtualBox problem.
Any Thoughts?
Samba Issue?

Re: Samba Issue?
Not a virtualbox problem to me... Most likely a Mac issue more than anything.

I'm guessing the Mac version of VirtualBox.noteirak wrote:Not a virtualbox problem to me... Most likely a Mac issue more than anything.
edit: it may be a Mac problem in this case. Googled around some but the only things I found were how some Samba shares didn't mount or show in the sidebar so not sure right now.
