I'm running VirtualBox 4.2.12 on Windows 7 (x64), and was using a 64-bit Xubuntu guest for a while with no problems. I also had a guest running CentOS 5. When I turned on my machine this morning, I got a guru meditation error on both machines.

Any ideas?

VirtualBox 4.2.12
Guest add-ons installed and up-to-date on both
Host and guests are all 64-bit
Host has 16Gb RAM, Xubuntu guest has 8Gb assigned, CentOS has 3Gb assigned
Logs from both guests attached

After doing the old Windows standby of restarting the computer, it works fine.

It means something else is already using VT-x.
