I am new user of VirtualBox and also French who does not speak English well.

I need help.
I installed VirtualBox and try to create a Windows XP virtuale machine.

I did all the steps, and when I want to start the XP virtual machine, I have the following message:

Failed to load VMMR0.r0 (VERR_SUPLIB_WORLD_WRITABLE).

Error Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: Console
Interface: {iConsole db7ab4ca-2a3f-4183-9243-c1208da92392}

What should I do?

Run the Repair Disk Permissions using DIsk Utility on your MAC host then it should work.

I had the same problem, but the fix disk permissions did not resolve the issue for me.

Instead, I lower by display video memory from 256MB down to 128 MB.
