PPPoE do not work on Guest

I'm trying to use a PPPoE connection from a Ubuntu 12.04 64bit guest machine, Host is windows 8 64bit. Version is 4.2.12

The problem is this:
Jun 14 14:55:53 ubuntu pppd[1999]: Send PPPOE Discovery V1T1 PADI session 0x0 length 12
Jun 14 14:55:53 ubuntu pppd[1999]: dst ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff src 8:0:27:7d:91:4e
Jun 14 14:55:53 ubuntu pppd[1999]: [service-name] [host-uniq cf 07 00 00]
Jun 14 14:55:53 ubuntu pppd[1999]: Recv PPPOE Discovery V1T1 PADO session 0x0 length 43
Jun 14 14:55:53 ubuntu pppd[1999]: dst a4:17:31:ac:3a:42 src 0:4:e:d0:59:89
Jun 14 14:55:53 ubuntu pppd[1999]: [service-name] [host-uniq cf 07 00 00] [AC-name r-rm417] [AC-cookie dc c4 a8 eb 60 79 e1 66 99 22 8b 64 cb 19 c4 89]

The source MAC address is correct in PADI

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 08:00:27:7d:91:4e
inet addr:192.168.1.20 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
inet6 addr: fe80::a00:27ff:fe7d:914e/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING PROMISC MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:23915 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:15952 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:7973009 (7.9 MB) TX bytes:4500492 (4.5 MB)

but the Bridged Network Card change it before sending it to provider with MAC address of real network card

Suffisso DNS specifico per connessione: fritz.box

so the PADO packet has a4:17:31:ac:3a:42 as destination and pppd ignores it

there is a way to fix this?
thanks

I attached log file and vbox configuration.
I think that the issue (is it?) is related to MAC translation in bridge network card that not allor pppoe protocol

cheers

What happens if you try over a wired connection?

I can't try that at the momend, however I tried to open a PPPoE from the host (over WiFi) and it worked.

I would expect it to work from the host, even in Wifi.
Most likely your issue is Wifi related : Wifi is not supposed to have serveral links over a single Wifi link, which is P2P.
Trying over a cabled connection would lift the doubt.

PPPoE works on a wired connection. I tested that.
I can confirm that is a wifi related issue.

Thanks
