Hi we have a weird setup on a lab on we are testing internet sharing from a virtual machine, for example, we have a windows computer host and we have tested with windows XP guest and freeBSD guest to bridge and share the internet connection, the host computer has two interfaces one with NAT and the other is bridged to our workstations.
Here is where the problem is viewed, on the workstations if we access a https site a SSL error appears request for certification.
I have tried to port forward 443 port to 80, and the other way around, I am lost, and need help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
NAT and SSL errors

Re: NAT and SSL errors
Which internet connection? The host one? And when you say Bridging, do you mean "Bridged mode" on the VM NIC property?tsukiyomi wrote:we have a windows computer host and we have tested with windows XP guest and freeBSD guest to bridge and share the internet connection
What is doing NAT? What is the subnet for each? How are the workstations getting internet access?tsukiyomi wrote:the host computer has two interfaces one with NAT and the other is bridged to our workstations.
What site - Internet site, or one on the XP Guest/FreeBSD guest?tsukiyomi wrote:on the workstations if we access a https site a SSL error appears request for certification.
Overall, you are not clear on how your setup is. Please give a clear network schema with some IP address / subnets and tell us what you are trying to achieve exactly.
