Maybe this is here but i did a quick search and couldn't find this. I have the machine set up and it goes to install xp and goes through the first batch of screen and tells me that installation is cancelled because there is no hard drive. What is the work around for this?
Thanks in advance!

I would delete the vm and start again, making sure that the virtual disc exists before trying to install the OS. Check the settings of the vm from the VirtualBox Manager screen.

And just in case this was the problem: the XP installation pops up a scary message to the effect that it's about to destroy all data on your PCs hard disk, do you want to proceed? This gives all of us pause for thought, but not to worry because it's only talking about the virtual hard disk owned by the VM. You should allow it to proceed, otherwise XP can't install.
