Hi, I had the following mssage in the beginning o VBox installation:
"The SW that your have installed did not overcome the Windows logotype test that assures compatibility with Win XP. if you continue with this Installation you can create problems or have system instability immediately or in the future. Microsoft recommends to stop this installation..."
Is this VBox reliable to install in Win XP SP3?
Thanks a lot for your reply.

IMHO, you should turn off Windows logo testing. It's primarily a test designed to alarm noobs into only using Microsoft software. Your quality assurance with VirtualBox is that the source code is available for inspection, which is infinitely better than taking the word of an interested party, regardless of how they tart it up. You should try asking Microsoft for the source code to Word...

Hello:
I have an issue with USB ports. I have installed the corresponding Extension Pack 4.2.12 and the Virtual Box USB required in Win XP host System. The USB devices connected are recongnized by the VBox 4.2.12 but they do not appear in the Guest OS. My guest OS is Linux Mint 15. I am a complete ignorant about Linux but I ran the following command:
$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 80ee:0021 VirtualBox USB Tablet
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 1e4e:0100
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Any idea about the problem? Thanks a lot for your help.
