Hi,
I'm using VB 4.1.26 with guest Oracle Linux 5
I've selected a MacBook Pro Intl keyboard with Belgian layout
But the Alt key is ignored which doesn't allow me to type special keys like { }
I've tried different layout options unsuccessfully !
Could someone let me know how to proceed ?
Thanks in advance
Regards
DDA
Alt key ignored - guest : OEL5
Re: Alt key ignored - guest : OEL5
Thanks for the link but this is only addressing the selection of a correct keyboard. I have the correct one selected.
This is not addressing the fact that the Alt key is ignored by the OEL5 guest and not allowing to type the special characters usually accessible by pressing the Alt key in combination with another !
Regards,
Didier

I don't think what you are asking is even possible. Linux doesn't really use character code like that. If say you open a terminal or editor and type alt-f the file menu will open.
There are some sets but they use hex code, and you can access them with shift+ctrl+<what-ever> IIRC.

Did you try both Alt keys?
