Hey guys

Im using windows 7 x64 Ultimate

Things i have tried
- Removing ATi completely with driver sweeper and installing newer versions
- Different settings in virtualbox
- Deleting/remaking the virtualbox HDD with different formats

Ok basically ive never had this problem before, whenever i load a distro that uses KDE/Gnome 3 or Unity, i just get a random crash. it only started in the latest version of virtualbox. and i cant understand why.

it does seem to be something to do with communication to an ATi driver. but as i said, the problem didnt happen a phew months ago, it only started recently, and my drivers have been up to date for a while, i dont remember updating them when the problem started.

The problem also doesn't occur when loading the distro physically onto my spare HD

Virtualbox works fine with any distro using CLI, Openbox, XFCE, or any window manager that doesnt have compositing out of the box

anyway, here's the error code
