I successfully installed Ubuntu 13.04 on Virtual Box 4.2.10
I installed the GuestAdditions 4.2.10 mounting the CD (the auto run worked properly).
(I can't use VirtualBox 4.2.12 because is not working correctly)
After rebooting Ubuntu the mouse is no longer detected.
Does not matter if I click on the window or if I "Disable mouse integration".

Re: After installing GuestAdditions no longer mouse
According to the log the guest additions are *not* installed. Did you install them in the guest where they are to be installed?
Re: After installing GuestAdditions no longer mouse
ops sorry. there were 4 log files I probably posted the older one. (number 1). So the right log should be number 4.
(you should add "log date" so one can easily distinguish them)
The problem is the same of course. Before installing GuestAdditions everything is working fine (just a "bit" laggy)
after installing guest additions mouse (and also keyboard too, i tried few Ubuntu shortcuts, are no longer working)
here it is the right log (i hope):

Re: After installing GuestAdditions no longer mouse
The most recent log is the one without a number. Numbered logs are from past sessions, with increasing numbers meaning increasingly older logs. In fact the date stamps on the files should have been a clue as well.
Re: After installing GuestAdditions no longer mouse
So guest additions didn't installed, but the installation broke the VM in some way (before installing guest additions the mouse and keyboard were working properly)... I retry to start a new VM .. again (10th try or something similiar:/ this time since at least installing the guest OS is working I create a snapshot at least I don't have to wait another 2 hours.)
(the first post I called "1" was without a number, while the one i called "4" was with number "3")
