cannot startup in window 8

Post by vxoxv »

I got this message when booting up and then it hangs.
I got two different appliance oracle vm virtual box for db developer and oracle vm virtual box for java developer .
both of them give me the same error message.

memory for crash kernel (0x0 to 0x0) not within permissible range.
warning calibrate_APIC_clock: the APIC timer calibration may be wrong.

after this two message it just hangs.

my question is can I buy more memory into my laptop and it might solve the problem ??
I have a new but low end laptop with window 8 and 4G RAM.

I posted the log file. Thx.
Is it possible to resolve this by adding more memory onto my laptop ??

This is not a memory problem.
Try by enabling IO APIC in System | Motherboard
