The VDI is store on another HDD it’s on D: drive and I want to move the VDI to E: drive how can I make this happen thank you.
I want to mention that I have multiple VM’S on multiple HDD’S
And I’m running virtualbox 4.2.12
Thanks to Google i found how to do it here it is.
Moving VDI files to different Hard drives
1. Turn off the vm that you want to move to another HDD
2. Copy the Vdi File to the Hard drive that you want to move it to.
3. Then highlight the VM on Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager that you just copy.
4. Select File menu than select Virtual Media Manager.
5. Select the Vdi file and select release and confirmed it.
6. Select the vdi file again and select removed and select delete
7. Close Virtual Media Manager
8. Highlight the VM again and select settings menu
9. Select storage and select Controller SATA Select the plus sign to add hard disk
10. Virtual Question pop up window Select Choose existing disk
11. Select the Vdi file tha you copy on the new location and that’s it.
12. Now you can delete the older Vdi file. Enjoy!

No, that isn't correct. You should be moving the VM, not dislocating the hard drive from the VM. And you shouldn't need all those steps.
