Virtualbox installation not working after each restart

Hey.
I have been using VB for a good while now, and it has been pretty good and stable.
But recently i have to remove and reinstall VB each time i restart my pc since the shortcut does not work anymore and thats because virtualbox.exe somehow gets deleted when i restart.

Have anyone had the same problem, i use VB 4.2.12.0 on Win7 x64 sp1 with all available updates. And as i said it has been working normal for several versions and months.

Are you sure that your hardware (special the hard disk) is OK? And has enough free space?

Have you checked Log of your Antivirus if probably missing files are detected as Virus (int his case "False Positive")?

Are you using a Windows in Kiosk Mode?

Tnx for reply, have 22GB available on the disk.

No files are deleted for several months in mye AV(also tried to disable it completly without any other result)

Both host and guest os are running in normal mode.

No smart errors on my Intel 520 256 SSD disk.

I drilled down the problem and had to remove all entries with virtualbox in the registry. There was some old installer references pointing to an older version. After that everything works okay again. Upgrading to a newer versions should have removed old entries automatic since it use an wrapped msi.
