It is installing now!, but this leads me to another problem:
I have only got 4GB of RAM in my laptop.
I want to clone the VM!
It should really work with 2GB like it does on my desktop.

Spoke too soon! Windows Server crashes on restart after setup!
On other forums, It has been suggested to tell VBox it is a 2008 installation!
How is that supposed to work?!!

To me it doesn't look like the issue is with Virtualbox - I just managed to installed Server 2012 without a glitch.
It could be your ISO that is not good...

How much memory and HDD did you give it?

I downloaded the latest VBox (4.2.14) and now Server 2012 installs!
